They say a picture is worth a thousand words—but sometimes it just asks one question: WHY? Of the various heart-wrenching photographs I have seen lately as a residual effect of one heinous act by one cowardly human I have repeatedly asked that question to myself. The evil act this person incurred, so reprehensible, can only be given TRUE justice in the afterlife.

People want to talk about outlawing a material warfare device, I’d rather have conversations about the spiritual warfare going on out there because it all starts within. I know so many questions of spiritual nature that are circulating right now like “where was God?” and “if there was a God why does He allow so much evil in the world?” It’s called Free Will given to us at the beginning of time—to love him or turn from him. Believe me, the absence of God would be an extremely dark world. We see on the outside so much good and so much bad in the world yet the deeper you go into one’s soul the harder it is for both God and the devil to coexist with one another. This person was undoubtedly possessed by the latter. Nonetheless, we can not allow our hearts to be overcome by the sickness—in so many of its different forms—of this world because the power to live beyond oneself grounded in morality and respect for people has always kept civilization alive. I could keep unveiling the theological concepts of good and evil but I’ll stop right there. All you need to know right now is that there will always be more angels protecting you than demons surrounding you.

I pray now for my neighbors and the ones I don’t even know. I pray that God permeates our hearts with His power to live out our calling/purpose and the lives of those ppl around us who may be struggling or living a cowardly existence right now. I pray that God opens our eyes, increases our senses to those who are possessed with evil intentions. God, please shine a light so bright that these individuals will be caught before carrying out such acts again. Help us heal as a nation. ✝️ “To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.” Titus 1:15 #prayforvegas
