CELINE THE ICE QUEEN

The enigma of cold places has always fascinated me, the people who live there and still thrive in such inhospitable places for humans….until I created my latest story book character! Winter is forever in my next title I’ve been working on: meet “Celine the Ice Queen”, she’s nice but oh as cold as ice! I HATE the cold which inspired me one day as I imagined a human being who was impervious to getting cold—in fact, it is what she THRIVES on! She has this placid blue skin, she lives in the ice and if she gets too warm she creates “ice fires” to cool her off! The scenic beauty of blue hues will be sure to calm your mind, a great peaceful night time book for your child! I molded her facial likeness by the ever-elusive and one-of-kind beauty of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. She always had this mystique to her which helped me create the character of Celine. Queen Freya from the movie “The Huntsman: Winter’s Bone” also inspired me to create Celine as a regal figurehead in the land she lives, as Freya thrived in a similar harsh environment Life Below Zero (Nat Geo doc series) also inspired me to create this storyline!
